Guitar Hero 2 Rocks My World
After waiting over a month for the part to come in I can finally play Guitar Hero 2. Must say that I love the game if only because it has the tragdor theme as one of the songs. How awesome is that? I do have to say that the songs are much better on the 2nd then on the first. I also like the coop mode, so Charlie and I can play together. Alas I only get to play till Sunday, that is when I get to go to the frozen tundra aka Wisconsin. It has been so long since I am seen my family for longer than one night. Plus this looks to be my first white christmas. My only final this semester is Saturday Night between 7-10. That is crazy. Plus this is when the cowboys play, too. Argh. Not like I could watch it because I don't have NFL network. Double Argh. One thing is certain, though. After my exam Lori is going to celebrate.

All Nfl Draft (you have been warned)
Well, the Nfl draft has came and went. All 6 Longhorns that were in the draft got drafted, so that is great. I started to worry about Rod Wright towards the end. I saw sometimes that he could be late first and he fell all the way down to the 7th. Eh, even 7th is like 500,000 a year. Vince was the first QB taken when he went 3 to Tennessee. With McNair's agent saying he wants out, it looks like Vince might be starting a few games next year. Unless titans then grab Kerry Collins, which is a possiblity. It will be a little weird to see Lendale White playing on the same team next year or in a couple of years. Matt Leihart fell to 10, which means he lost 10 million dollars by going back to school. That sucks, but he has a great team around him there. He might do well just because of the weapons around him. The runway thing they kept showing all the time was really gay, but I loved them all the same. Vince even got in his little dance that I can never do. The really liked the cowboys 1st pick with Bobby Carpenter, considering him and AJ Hawk raped us when we played against them. I was a little confused by the TE pick, but now I understand alittle more. I don't know alot about the other players, but they say the 3rd round guy is a gem and the safety we took is frakkin 6'5. That is huge for Safety. Overall, I thought it was a good draft. Mel Kiper gave us a B-, while aol gave us a D-. I do think that Dallas did have the most trades out of anyone during this draft. Finally, I love Michael Irvin. He is so funny and I loved it when they flashed back to him being drafted. He was like we are going to the Super Bowl and he did 3x.

Sleep is for the weak
May is going to be one hell of a busy month. There is finals, papers due, 3 weddings to go to, people to see, doctors appointments, my sister in town and all ending with me flying up to wisconsin to spend some time with my family. My sister is graduating, so it should be a nice visit. I am just going to miss charlie. As if it was not bad enough that I was going to london for 2 months, I have to do this on top of it. Eh, we will get through it. Hopefully, I will get to see some people when I am in dallas who all the weddings. I just don't know where exactly I am going to stay. I could stay with uncle doc and aunt cindy, but that might be a little weird. I could also stay at my grandparents, but that is so far and I at least want a couple nights in the colony area. As much as I will hate it, I guess I just have to wing it.

My favorite thing is happening this weekend. No, not the wiener dog races in austin. The NFL draft!!! I don't know why I love it so much. My favorite part though is seeing the flashbacks to other drafts. Like when philly drafted mcnabb with the 2nd pick and the whole crowd booed like crazy cuz they wanted the eagles to draft ricky williams. Guess you was right in the end? I really hope that Vince stays in the top 10 and Michael Huff for that matter. It should be a lot of fun. It is all kind of like the football soap opera. The lying, the trading, the fancy clothes, the bitching. I don't know if I will even sleep tomorrow night.

London Baby, Yeah!
I got an internship in london, england this summer. I am so excited. It is going to be an amazing experience for me and it will totally help me when I apply for jobs this next year. Hard to believe that I am so close to graduating from college. It is really scary. Anyway, if any of you have been to england or europe in general and have any tips I would greatly appreciate it. I should really go to bed, so I will talk some more later.

Tomorrow at 1pm I will be finally having my jaw reconstruction at Baylor Medical Center. It is going to be about 6 hours long. That is longer than a quad bypass. If you want an update on me charlie and my mom will be there. I should be there for at least one night. Wish me luck.

Movin Out
I finally saw Movin Out this Sunday. It was awesome. They did some of the craziest lifts I have ever seen. Tony and his girl friend were my favorite. It was a lot dirtier than I thought it was going to be. At one point there was just this girl in a thong and boobie tassels. I got the best seats, too. 7th row orchestra. I could see the sweat fling off of them when they did their turns. The best part is I paid 50% off cuz i am a student. It was 30 bucks and I have paid that much for 2nd balcony on other shows. The only thing that sucked was the person sitting next to me that complained all intermission to her friend because she thought this was a Billy Joel Concert. She actually works at the theater, too. Some people are such idiots in scares me.

So my surgery has finally been scheduled for Dec 19th. Amen for that. Took long enough with all the insurance problems. Which isn't exactly cleared all the way up, but close enough. Right now they are willing to pay for the reconstruction of the jaw, but they won't pay for the reconstruction of the chin or to fix my nose when they BLOCK OFF my nasel passage ways with the jaw reconstruction. I guess me not breathing through my nose is not a medical problem, but cosmetic. Yuck. Right now it is all under reconsideration, so hopefully they approve it all. It is only 1500 if they don't, but it is just better if they do.

Registration was today. I can't believe the semester is almost over. I like most of my classes right now. I did fix my next schedule though, so I can have fridays off again. That is always nice. It is scary though because right now I have more electives to do than required classes. Man I only have to register 2 more times for classes. Scary. I love my UT.

Cars, Movin and Work
First things first. I have a BRAND NEW CAR. It is a Hyundai Elantra GT. It is so decked out and amazing. Leather seats, sunroof, power everything, remote entry, just about everything. Plus it is RED. My favorite car color. It is like a sportier Roxanne.(who by the way is dead, so dead that we have to take her to a salvage yard). I still haven't decided on a name. Roxie, Alexa, Carly and Sasha are some of the names I am thinking of. It is hard though because Roxanne was not only had her movie, but her own theme song. Any suggestions would be nice.

So last thursday, my family left the colony and have finally moved to wisconsin. So it has been a hard week for me. Hell it has been a hard month and a half for me with this. I still can't talk to my parents right now without getting upset. Hopefully it will be better once I go up there in august to see them for my cousin's wedding. Atleast now it is just an 3 hour flight instead of a 3 hour drive. I still have to drive to dallas area every month for my doc's appointments. I will actually be in the colony on the 16th, but mostly just to drop charlie off. I don't think i can stay there for that long. It would be to hard. I am going to stay with my grandparents instead and maybe the roy's.

Only 2 more weeks of my internship with the governor and they sound like they are going to be the most exciting. Most of the summer, I have done nothing, but research, research and more research. These next two weeks though, there will be tons of meetings to go to and my reception with Governor Rick Perry himself. I am so excited for it. This is what I have been looking forward to all summer.

Roxanne 1995-2005
Roxanne(my car for those that don't know her name) died this sunday. Well, I am 99% sure she is dead. In technical terms her head gasket blew. My car had been overheating since like may, but only when I would drive from austin to dallas and back. Which had been alot lately with the doctors appointments, grad, holidays and my family moving. I got it checked out at goodyear twice and they did a few things but nothing to fix it. Then on my drive back I was 10 miles south of waco when my car started acting weird, I look in my mirror and there is a large cloud of smoke behind me. I pulled over into a texico and called my dad. I was already emotional to begin with because of my goodbye to my family and now this. My dad was just like I am on my way. So him and my mom drove all the way to waco to meet me. Then my dad drove my car all the way to austin, then they left. My poor dad and mom. They didn't get back to the colony till 4 in the morning and my dad had a flight he had to get for at 5 and my mom was having to drive to abilene with my brother's all-star team(they made it to regionals!!!!!). So now Roxanne sits in my parking lot on life support. My dad is coming this weekend to most likely trade her in for a new car for me. I should be excited about the new car, but I am not. I love my Roxanne. Rest in Peace Roxanne.

For those keeping up

Go Bracey!!!!!  47 Pick to Minnesota!!!!!

Now all those girls that slept with him in high school have fulfilled the reason of why they did it.  I was worried he wasn't going to get picked and I am glad that he did and where he is going.

7:02 pm

Go Deron!!!!!  #3 Overall to the Utah Jazz!!!!!!!!

Utah traded 3 first round picks for him.  Utah has been one of my favorite teams(during the stockton/malone days).  Deron is the heir to my favorite player John Stockton.  Somebody from the colony has been selected in the top 5 of the nfl and now nba draft.

First Day on the Job......well sort of
So today was my orientation for my internship at the governor's office. It was so exciting. We were in an actual hearing room for the legislative committees. There wasn't as many of us as I thought. There was a girl in there that I knew from some of my classes, so it was nice to see someone I know. She is working with the human resource office, so at least we will be in the same building. There really was a wide variety of majors there and a wide assortment of colleges. Most though were from UT and were some sort of government major. The first part was just of them trying to scare us not to basically screw up. But they picked some great people to tell us. The Press Secretary and the deputy chief of staff!!!! Then after all the papers were filled out, I got my own parking permit and ID badge. It is so awesome. It has the capital on it and office of the governor and a bad pic of myself, but that is ok. The best part though, is that they told us that at the end of July we are having an intern reception with the Governor Rick Perry, himself. There will be great food and we will take our picture with him. I am so excited about this summer. It is going to be unforgettable.

Yeah to waiting for the last minute
So I just bought my tickets for THE PRODUCERS that is showing tomorrow in austin. I will be seating on row D on orchestra. Oh my goodness. I am so excited. These are like the best seats I have ever gotten for a show and this is one of my favorite shows(which is sad since I haven't even seen the musical verision, just the first movie and soundtrack). I am so excited. Ahhh I can't wait.

For those in town, I will also be in town this weekend. I got another doc appointment on the 31st and will leave like right after the appointment. I will probably come intown thursday or friday depending on my real job interview I had today. Call me or answer when I call you.

Internship Dilemma
So great new first, I got an internship for Governor Rick Perry in the criminal justice division. I know Rick Perry sucks, but how awesome to say I worked for the governor of Texas one summer. Great job helper.

Now the problem, I still have an internship interviews for 2 state representatives one tomorrow and one monday morning. It would still be great to work at these offices. I would probably receive more personal attention and it will be more towards the legislative/political aspect. I know one said that I would get to work on a bill. Criminal justice department I don't think it will deal too much with that. Yet I don't want to give up the governor one when I don't have another one lined up and I am not really sure if I want to go into the the legislative part of government yet.

If anyone has any idea what I should do. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Merry Go Round
So the never ending merry go round of doctors and surgeon just keeps on going. I don't know when it be, where it will be, who will be the surgeon or what exactly the surgery will end up being. All I know is that I love my orthodontist people to death, but I can not wait for the day to get these damn braces off.

I was so excited about show tunes week on american idol I actually watched the show and I was extremely disappointed. Not a single one sang a song i liked, not even from a musical i like. Constantine was in the touring company of rent and even though I don't like that show I would of loved to have heard seasons of love just for memories sake.

I am still not sure what I want my class schedule to exactly be and I might change it all if this surgery thing ever works itself out. I have like 2 weeks til I actually register. Working out my class schedule is more fun sometimes though than actual classes.
